Galactic Racer Standard vs Deluxe vs Collector’s Edition

Which Galactic Racer edition should you buy?

Standard gets you the base game. Deluxe adds three exclusive speeders, three Arcade events, a Naboo N-1 inspired livery, a multiplayer banner and a digital art book. Collector’s combines the Deluxe digital content with physical collectibles. US Steam prices are $59.99 for Standard and $79.99 for Deluxe, a $20 difference.

Pre-order rewards are a separate bonus category: a repulsorcraft livery and a multiplayer player banner. A pre-order banner is not the same item as the Deluxe banner. Check that your order includes the pre-order offer rather than assuming that every purchase made after launch will receive it.

The three Deluxe vehicles

Each of the three exclusive Arcade events is designed around the added Kor Sarun repulsorcraft. Deluxe does not add an exclusive podracer to this list. Its livery can coat your speeders, but podracers are not customizable. The vehicle names describe the bonus roster; they are not evidence that these craft dominate every race or replace the base game’s progression.

Kor Sarun: Ciza T is a speeder bike.
Kor Sarun: Darc X is a landspeeder.
Kor Sarun: Rak S is a skim speeder.

Choose by the extras you want

Choose Standard for the core racing game
It is the straightforward option if your priority is the campaign, the available racing modes and online competition rather than a specific bonus speeder.
Choose Deluxe for its named bonus content
Treat the US Steam premium as payment for those three vehicles, three events and presentation extras. An advantage in competitive races has not been established.
Choose Collector’s for the physical items
The package includes a Darc X metal model, Kestar banner, pilot patches, physical art book, steel case and outer box. Check regional availability and delivery before ordering.

Can Standard be upgraded later?

Deluxe content is planned as a separate Deluxe Upgrade DLC at launch. A standalone upgrade price has not been announced, so the $20 gap between the two US Steam editions should not be used as an assumed DLC price. Prices and physical stock vary by store and region; review the final checkout total for the version you intend to play.
